The décor had clearly enjoyed an update, making the ambiance feel fresh, while the spacious dining room provided stunning views of the lakeside - an excellent backdrop for dinner. The room was compact but scrupulously clean, equipped with fluffy towels and tea/coffee facilities that catered to my needs. I must commend the breakfast - a commendable spread served at the table by attentive staff, including the delightful Miss Sandre, who ensured every guest was well looked after despite her busy schedule. While the prices might fall on the higher side, the combination of a quiet location, good dining options, and exceptionally clean amenities makes the Galley a valuable choice for those seeking a tranquil getaway. Plus, with plenty of parking and access to nearby walking paths and good restaurants, it's an ideal base for exploring. With the right expectations, this hotel can provide a satisfying experience without breaking the bank.
